ARTHUR KING PRESENTS
JASON LYTLE:
NYLONANDJUNO
Jason Lytle of Grandaddy's NYLONANDJUNO is an entirely instrumental album. Its radiant, mesmerizing sound is derived exclusively from one analog synthesizer and one nylon-string acoustic guitar.
Album art by John Schlue
The album NYLONANDJUNO is accompanied by a film of the same name created by Mind Palace. Mind Palace is comprised of writer/director Ryan Baxley, set designer Brandon Schwartzel, and photographer Alice Baxley. The film is inspired by themes and scenarios Lytle shared when describing each individual song, recreated with handmade and hand painted sets and miniatures. Materials used include clay, paper mache, sand, and more. The film made its public debut at Arthur King's August 2019 multimedia exhibit at 98 Orchard.
