Manipulated projections and directional audio created a unique experience for each participant, depending on one’s position within the exhibit in time and space. The event also featured live performances including experimental music, dance, and short films.

Palmetto began with a one-day total improvisational recording session in downtown Los Angeles that resulted in a 10 song, 47 minute LP, and became the audio roots for the Palmetto installation.
