PALMETTO POP-UP GALLERY
The Palmetto installation was a large-scale, site-specific, interactive art exhibit based on the concept of the balance of opposites. Participants were invited to enter a structure that physically engaged the idea of opposing elements. Manipulated projections and directional audio created a unique experience for each viewer, depending on one’s position within the exhibit in time and space. The event also featured live performances including experimental music, dance, and short films.

PALMETTO AUDIO
Palmetto began with a one-day total improvisational recording session in downtown Los Angeles that resulted in a 10 song, 47 minute LP, and became the audio roots for the Palmetto installation.
